Welcome to UGC Playground ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ugcplayground.com and everything on it (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Who can use the Site
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Site or subscribe to our newsletter. By using the Site you confirm you meet this requirement.
2. Our content
All articles, guides, tools, graphics, and other materials on the Site are owned by UGC Playground or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may read, share links to, and quote short excerpts of our content with attribution. You may not republish, resell, or scrape the Site in bulk, or use it to train commercial models, without our written permission.
3. Your submissions
If you send us content — a pitch, a comment, a "write for us" draft, or an email — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, edit, and publish it in connection with the Site. Don't submit anything you don't have the right to share, and don't submit anything unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the Site;
- attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the Site or its infrastructure;
- scrape, crawl, or harvest data except as permitted by our robots rules;
- misrepresent your affiliation with us or impersonate anyone.
5. Free tools
Our calculators, templates, and generators are provided for general guidance only. Outputs (such as suggested rates) are estimates, not professional, financial, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for the decisions you make using them.
6. Affiliate links & third-party sites
Some links on the Site are affiliate links — see our Affiliate Disclosure. The Site also links to third-party websites and services we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, products, or practices, and your dealings with them are between you and them.
7. Newsletter
If you subscribe, you consent to receive periodic emails from us. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your email address.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. 9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UGC Playground and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed USD $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UGC Playground from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
